A Recap of the CWCBExpo 2024
BlazeBags rolled into the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, a.k.a. New York City, for the first time ever! We set up shop at the prestigious CWCBExpo, the premier B2B cannabis trade show on the East Coast, held at the iconic Jacob Javits Convention Center on June 5th and 6th, 2024. This show marked a monumental moment for BlazeBags in several ways - it was our biggest convention to date, our first foray into the bustling East Coast market, and it provided the perfect opportunity to showcase our brand's innovative spirit. But let's talk about the real win here: growing the BlazeBags family! We're thrilled to announce that the CWCBExpo yielded a fruitful harvest of 3 new business accounts on the East Coast. This brings us full circle – in just three short years, BlazeBags has transformed from a small-market player to a major force in the cannabis industry, and the East Coast is now officially on our map.
A New York Debut with a New Look
For the CWCBExpo, we ditched the traditional poster displays and opted for a sleek, professional-looking retractable stand. We also unveiled a brand new backdrop featuring the catchy lyrics of our jingle – because let's face it, who doesn't love a good jingle? But the real showstopper was the "BlazeBags Jingle Box." This ingenious contraption, a box with a giant red button, played our jingle on a Bluetooth speaker whenever pressed. Let's just say, it was a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, getting toes tappin' and heads noddin' all throughout the expo.

Beyond the Booth: Exploring the Empire City
This expo wasn't just about business (although securing a whopping 23 highly engaged B2B leads was pretty darn sweet!). Unlike previous stops on the tour, the CWCBExpo offered a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant energy of New York City after hours. The team took in the majestic sights – Lady Liberty, the hustle and bustle of Wall Street, the bright lights of Times Square – and even sampled some of the local "flower" (ahem) readily available on the streets (wink wink, nudge nudge). We also celebrated our fearless leader, Big AK (the CEO himself!), with a birthday bash at a local bar. Needless to say, this stop on the tour was an unforgettable experience that went way beyond the expo floor. A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the CWCBExpo! The energy and enthusiasm from the East Coast cannabis community were truly inspiring. We had a blast connecting with fellow industry leaders, potential partners, and cannabis enthusiasts alike. We can't wait to return to the East Coast and continue spreading the BlazeBags love!
